Ankle IntelliStretch

The robot therapist intelligently stretches ankle joints of the patients with neurological impairment.(e.g. stroke, spinal cord injury, and cerebral palsy, etc).

IntelliStretch has the following features:

1) Intelligent Passive Stretching

IntelliStretch provides strenuous stretching by intelligent control. The intelligent control guarantees safety while still providing forceful stretching.

2) Voluntary Movement Exercise with Rehab Games

IntelliStretch motivates patients to do more active exercises. Patients move their joint while they play fun games. IntelliStretch assists or resists the joint movement regarding the level of impairments.

3) Quantitative Outcome Evaluation

After the physical therapy, IntelliStretch provides you with quantitative measures to show the efficacy of the physical therapy.
