was founded at Illinois in 2000 as a business focused on Research and
Development (R&D) of advanced rehabilitation technologies to meet
the pressing needs of rehabilitation practices. It has very close
collaborations with the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, rated as
the #1 rehabilitation hospital in USA.
Rehabtek's mission is to
develop advanced rehabilitation technologies for people with
neurological disorders or orthopaedic injuries. With a focus on cutting
edge technologies in robotics, signal processing, and biomedical
engineering, Rehabtek pursues the development of medical devices
directly useful in physical medicine and rehabilitation clinical
practice.
