Overview

Rehabtek aims to foster development of innovative products needed to enhance the health, productivity, independence, and the quality-of-life of people with neurological impairments.(e.g. stroke, cerebral palsyspinal, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury) and orthopaedic injuries (e.g. ACL injury, knee OA).

Currently, several products under developement include:

- Wearable IntelliStretch

  • Next generation of IntelliStretch series.
  • Specially designed to be attached to human body.
  • More compact, more portable, more efficient!

 

- IntelliArm

  • Multi-Degree of Freedom (DOF) exoskeletal robot.
  • Specially designed around the shape and function of the human body, with segments and joints corresponding to those of the person it is externally coupled with.
  • Enables diagnosis, stretching, active movement training and evaluation on multiple joints at the same time.

 

- ReflexMeter

  • Designed to measure tendon reflex.
  • Instant test result.
  • Compact, portable, accurate and easy-to-use!

 

- Off-Axis (Pivoting-sliding) Elliptical Training System

  • Designed for off-axis movement (tibial rotation / abduction / adduction) training.
  • Includes pivoting and sliding modes.
  • Incorporates bio-feedback using virtual reality display .
  • Suitable for ACL injury and knee OA rehabilitation / prevention.

 

- TeleRehab System

  • Next generation of rehabilitation platform.
  • Specially designed for remote accessment and rehabilitation.
  • Real-time heptic system allows physicians and therapists to remotely perform clinical diagnosis and theraputic treatment.
  • E-therapy facillitates customized protocol for individuals based on performance change.
  • A secured online medical information system (MIS) enables data sharing between doctors and patients.
  • Home-based computer-aided daily training allows expediting rehabilitation procedure while reducing costs.
